((First ever RP on this site. Hopefully it'll be a good one, ne? And feel free to join in, guys, just for some practise or if you're bored. ^^))
The girl grabbed a basket reluctantly and trotted around the store taking random items. Children scurried out of her way when they saw the glare she threw at them. She was not in a happy mood. "Stupid kids," she muttered as one fell over in his anxiousness to get away. "It's all just a dumb game to them." Hiroko fished out the grocery list in her pocket and checked it over. "Bread, fish, apples, garlic, milk, that should be all..." She went to turn around when she found herself right in the path of another customer. She dodged as fast as she could, determined to not let herself get too close. "Watch it!" she yelled automatically. Then she saw who it was.
((Did I mention this is a grocery store in Yokohama? If not, then this is a grocery store in Yokohama. Hiroko hasn't left for Tokyo yet. In fact, until the site opens officially and we finally get an Atsuko, no one is going to Tokyo except in maybe their application RPs. ))

To say excited, would be to take the fun out of life.
Kairu scampered gleefully around the shop-it was her first time grocery shopping, and exhilerated would be the best word to describe the new high-school girl. It was the first (and probably last) time Souchiro had entrusted her with such an important mission.
Kairu glanced down at the gritty, now crumpled piece of paper in her hand. The words were barely illegible, but having been born and raised with one such as Souchi, she had grown used to it.
"Cheese...mandarins...milk...carrots...carrots...fish...lettuce..." she recited, the check next to each word indicating that the shopping was done. Even so, the bright orange clad girl glanced down instinctively at her heavy cart...laden with goodies such as bags and bags of ripe, juicy looking carrots.
Eh...maybe I got too much?
Still, something as incredibly stupid as that didn't trouble the usagi, even though she was sure she only had enough money for what was left of the shopping. One lone girl, tall and impeccably imposing was left in her way, between her and the counter. Kairu giggled to herself.
One...two...three...charge-!!
Wreaking havoc in the world was one of her main professions, but nothing would've prepared her for what she saw next.
"Watch it!"
The girl swung out of her way, violet eyes flashing furiously. Kairu's pace faltered as she lifted her own cool, green eyes to meet Hiroko's demanding, flustered gaze.
Then her whole stance changed-Hiroko Seishi, the girl from her high school? Oranges and bags of thick carrots went flying as the rabbit flung herself at her schoolmate.
"Hiroko! Hiroko dono, long time, no see! What're you doing here? Kairu comes here to shop, she never expected to see Seishi san here! Is Hiroko hungry? Does she want a carrot?"
Kairu made a mock gesture of feeding the infuriated girl a carrot. This was what life was all about- having fun. It was such a pity that Hiroko Seishi couldn't see it...but Kairu was about to make her.
"Ah! Kairu has the most brilliant idea of all!" She exclaimed, sending carrots flying, like a cape of carrots around her.
"Kairu officially declares 'Make Hiroko Seishi dono Happy Operation open, today!"
She gripped at the girls wrist, not bothering to take her pulse, not even pausing for breath or to check if the girl had fainted, over come with such visages of joy, splendour and wonder that Kairu was cooking up for her.
"First things first! Phase One of the Operation...is...ah! We have to go to the park!"
Abandoning all thoughts of paying for her groceries, leaving a trail of scattered goods in her wake, Kairu charged, Hiroko in tow, out of the store, and into the night.

((Eh heh heh... Hiroko's eyes are brown, not violet, but oh well ^^))
Hiroko stepped back to avoid several carrots, which the other girl had sent flying on recognising Hiroko.
"Hiroko! Hiroko dono, long time, no see! What're you doing here? Kairu comes here to shop, she never expected to see Seishi san here! Is Hiroko hungry? Does she want a carrot?"
Hiroko was overwhelmed by the sudden burst of words from the little girl. She tried to remember all the questions. "I'm shopping, what does it look like? No, I'm not hungry. And no, I don't want a carrot thank you very much."
But before she knew it, she found a carrot nearly poking her in the eye. Kairu was pretending to try feed Hiroko. Hiroko roughly grabbed the carrot and put it back in Kairu's trolley.
"Ah! Kairu has the most brilliant idea of all!"
"More brilliant than trying to blind me with a vegetable?" she said sarcsatically. "Do go on." This resulted in more carrots getting strewn around. Hiroko almost felt sorry for them.
"Kairu officially declares 'Make Hiroko Seishi dono Happy Operation open, today!"
"Make me happy?" Hiroko said with mock surprise. "I am happy. Although you could make me happier if you left me ALONE to do my shopping." Hiroko turned back to her groceries but not before she felt a firm grip on her wrist. Her face went pale. "Let me go, Kairu-san." Unfortunately, the other girl took no notice.
"First things first! Phase One of the Operation...is...ah! We have to go to the park!"
Hiroko tried to yank herself free without harming Kairu. It wasn't working though. "Ugh," she said, tugging away. "I have groceries I need to pay for!" Yet again, Kairu paid her no heed.
As Hiroko found herself getting dragged through the door and into the dark street, she growled, "And why the park? It's such a stupid place. It's for little children. Besides, it's nighttime. What kind of idiot girl would go to the park at night in Yokohama? Ow, would you let GO? You're cutting off my circulation!"

"And why the park? It's such a stupid place. It's for little children. Besides, it's nighttime. What kind of idiot girl would go to the park at night in Yokohama? Ow, would you let GO? You're cutting off my circulation!"
The park was deserted-after all, as Hiroko had so blatantly stated, it was nighttime. Kairu scanned the area with delight-supple blades of grass bent by long ago footprints, the rusted swings and tacky plastic slides, the entire wonderous haven of childish delights...
In other words, Hiroko's newest best friend.
It was only then, panting for breath, Kairu caught Hiroko's words, borne to her on a long ago gentle breeze.
"Ara? Why? Stupid? Night-time?"
She bristled with indignity, tightening her firm grip on her seniors wrist. "Because the park is the park! The fun, fun park! What other reason do you need, baka? Its beautiful, isn't it?"
As if in confirmation, the night sky glistened against a backdrop of blue. "And night-time only makes it prettier, right...Hiroko dono? Its great fun here, in the park, at night! Ah! Hiroko needs to stay alive if she is to have fun!"
Kairu dropped Hiroko's greying wrist, but snagged the corner of the girl's blouse, all the more excited at the older girls protests.
"Now...the fun begins! Choose a swing, any swing at all, dono!"
She seemed to pause for thought for a moment, then, in spite of Hiroko's complaints, chose a rusted neon pink swing, shoving the girl upon it.
"There! Now stay put for a while! Kairu needs to call someone!"
Three shrill whistles echoed across the glade, Kairu's exuberant call of life and youth.
"Hiro dono! Come out, come out, wherever you are! Operation Make Hiroko Happy Day is an official success!"
She knew what was coming next.

"Ara? Why? Stupid? Night-time?"
Hiroko glared. "Yes, yes, and YES."
"Because the park is the park! The fun, fun park! What other reason do you need, baka? Its beautiful, isn't it?"
"Oh, very fun indeed. If you want to get attacked and robbed or beaten up and killed. Extremely fun, ne?" she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
"And night-time only makes it prettier, right...Hiroko dono? Its great fun here, in the park, at night! Ah! Hiroko needs to stay alive if she is to have fun!"
"Pretty? What does it matter if it is pretty? And anyway, I am alive. And I don't consider being at a stupid park at nighttime as fun."
"Now...the fun begins! Choose a swing, any swing at all, dono!"
Hiroko had no time to even consider a swing before she found herself shoved onto a disgustingly bright pink swing.
"There! Now stay put for a while! Kairu needs to call someone! Hiro dono! Come out, come out, wherever you are! Operation Make Hiroko Happy Day is an official success!"
"Hiro? What? Success?" Hiroko tried not to appear flustered. "Just what is going on?!"

In accordance to Kairu's plan, the well built boy had spent most of the night shivering out the worst of the damp at Yokohama Park.
It was true the cold did things to him, but still, once he had recieved Kairu's automated text message, he had hastened to compile. Hiro illuminated the screen once more, and his face was bathed in the ghostly green light of the message.
"Meet u @ teh park. Hiroko & i will be @ teh park 2. byez-k."
A slight scowl broke out on his face-the girl could have specified both the time and where they were, but that was the impulsivity of the girl. Truth be told, it was her who made life a little more exciting than usual, her that could cheer anybody up.
Hiro pushed the thoughts from her mind-there was no point musing over it at the time being. Lucky he did-at that moment, the usual three piping notes rang out, full of excitement and pent up energy.
Kairu.
The word reached his pad, punching in the letters in a text message before it was fully registered in his mind. Kairu's burbling voice accompanied the sound.
"Hiro dono! Come out, come out, wherever you are! Operation Make Hiroko Happy Day is an official success!"
Hiro stretched, pulling himself out of the bushs, and his awkward hiding place, clambering towards both ruffled and disgrunted girl stood. He choked down a laugh at the sight of Kairu forcefully holding Hiroko on the swing, in place. Immaculate and as unruffled as ever, the Prince truly shone with his 'handsome radiance'...the one that his parents had so forcefully dismissed.
"Mm, good evening Kairu, Hiroko-san. Its doubtless we've met before-I'm Hiro Maekawa, Class 8A. Sorry about this." He added apologetically.
"Um...Hiroko. What....what Kairu is proposing is we go to a movie together. Mogeta, to be exact. Kairu-the tickets, please?"
He loved being involved in Kairu's plans, basking in the exhileration and excitement. He was part...of the moment...

The night could only get better, in Kairu's opinion, as the dark haired boy emerged from around the gravelly patch of deserted bush.
Her senpai had only finished complaining, but at the look of recognition on Hiroko's face, it was obvious that the two (Hiroko and Hiro) knew one another. Of course, thought Kairu, stiffling a roguish grin, who wouldn't know Hiro Maekawa, 'Prince' of Kuragi High.
The title had gnawed away at him, causing him to turn into a speck of the boy he was...until, of course, the brilliant Kairu had intervened and quickly saved him from a deprived childhood.
"Mm, good evening Kairu, Hiroko-san. Its doubtless we've met before-I'm Hiro Maekawa, Class 8A. Sorry about this."
Kairu looked subconciously down at her preffered clothes-flared, tangerine skirt, and wildly outrageous, peach dyed blouse. There were no subtle tones upon her. Hiro himself was dressed as formal as ever, and as for Hiroko...
Kairu pushed the thoughts away-once Hiroko was truly happy she would be wearing electric green and neon shades! She bowled over in her eagerness to greet her old grade-school and new classmate.
"Konbawa Hiro-chan! Piff! Don't be silly, about all this 'Its doubtless we've met before' fuffle! Everybody knows you!" Kairu cried bouncily, putting exaggerated emphasis on the 'everybody'. "Whats to be sorry about?" she giggled, as a last minute after thought.
"Um...Hiroko. What....what Kairu is proposing is we go to a movie together. Mogeta, to be exact. Kairu-the tickets, please?"
"They're right here!" Kairu plunged her hand into the small pocket of her skirt, rummaging noisily for a moment, and depositing the contents of her pocket (a small pocket watch, a Swiss Army pocketknife,a couple of shrunken emergency carrots, a rubber and a piece of last night's homework) into Hiroko's seemingly outstretched hands.
"Hold onto those for Kairu, ne? Ah! Got 'em!"
With a cry of triumph, the usagi produced four somewhat grubby looking tickets, pressing them to her chest in a vow.
"I, Kairu Izawa, swear that I'll make sure Hiroko-san has a great time tonight~!! If not, for repentance, I won't eat any carrots for a week!"
She turned back to the others with a roguish grin. "Well? Ready? C'mon! Lets go!"

"Mm, good evening Kairu, Hiroko-san. Its doubtless we've met before-I'm Hiro Maekawa, Class 8A. Sorry about this." He added apologetically.
Hiroko stared at Kairu and Hiro, dumbstruck. What was happening? Why did they have to pick on her? Should she just put up with it or teach these kids to get lost? Who cares if Kairu was one of the smartest kids in her grade, or that Hiro was dubbed Prince of the school. It didn't matter. They were younger than her, and obviously more immature. Well, maybe Hiro was't as bad. His previous statement showed that.
"Konbawa Hiro-chan! Piff! Don't be silly, about all this 'Its doubtless we've met before' fuffle! Everybody knows you! Whats to be sorry about?"
Hiroko glared. Perhaps Kairu was just another rabid Prince Hiro fan. It sickened Hiroko. She felt immense pity for Hiro, who had to put up with the spotlight and all the people. She wondered how on earth he managed it. But her ponderings were drowned out with fury of being pulled out of a grocery store (without paying, boy, her parents would be mad) and then being deposited on a ridiculously coloured swing.
"Um...Hiroko. What....what Kairu is proposing is we go to a movie together. Mogeta, to be exact. Kairu-the tickets, please?"
"Mogeta?" Hiroko asked dryly. "You and Kairu are going to see Mogeta?" She stepped off the swing and waved. "Well, I hope it's a good movie. Enjoy it, kiddies. I have to get going now."
But before Hiroko could make a getaway, she felt several little objects thrust into her open hand.
"Hold onto those for Kairu, ne? Ah! Got 'em!"
She stared at Kairu, who was still fishing around in her pocket busily. "Or not." The older girl made to leave when Kairu spoke again.
"I, Kairu Izawa, swear that I'll make sure Hiroko-san has a great time tonight~!! If not, for repentance, I won't eat any carrots for a week! Well? Ready? C'mon! Lets go!"
"What? Kairu-san, Hiro-san, don't mock me like this. If it wasn't so dark and you weren't grinning like mad, Kairu-san, I'd almost believe you. Although Hiro-san looks so damn serious," Hiroko noted. "But 'Happy Hiroko Day'? No carrots as 'repetance'? I think you're just trying to get me in trouble with the grocery store coz I didn't pay. What'd I do to deserve this, eh?"
Hiroko had her feet firmly planted on the ground. As soon as she got this sorted out, she could go back and pay. She wouldn't bother apologising. And she wouldn't go to the movies, either. This whole situation was a simple mess. Too spontaneous for her liking. Speaking of which, Hiroko glanced at Kairu's orange and peach outfit. That girl had to learn to tone it down a little. Hiroko's eyes flicked toward her own garments. Her hair, as per usual, was tied into two loose pigtails. She was wearing a black jacket with a knee-length denim skirt and black boots. Black boots which were stuck deep into the ground. She wanted to know what was going on, and they'd better tell her.
((Sorry my last post was so short and this one was so long... v_v))((Ah but you guys are doing great! I'm enjoying this. ^^))

"What? Kairu-san, Hiro-san, don't mock me like this. If it wasn't so dark and you weren't grinning like mad, Kairu-san, I'd almost believe you. Although Hiro-san looks so damn serious. But 'Happy Hiroko Day'? No carrots as 'repetance'? I think you're just trying to get me in trouble with the grocery store coz I didn't pay. What'd I do to deserve this, eh?"
"...Eyaah?!?" Kairu had already set off towards the distant city, lights glimmering dully in the horizon, Hiro at her heels when Hiroko's words reached her, nothing short of a bellow of anger.
She scampered back, wide hazel eyes imploring. "Hiroko dono thinks we're mocking her? Is that it? She thinks we...we're trying to get her in trouble with the grocery store because she didn't pay?"
In a moment, she was by the disgruntled girls side, tugging at her hopefully. "But Hiroko, if you didn't pay for the groceries, it means you can come back to pay! And thats fun! Isn't it, isn't it, Hrio-chan?"
Obviously, the night had gotten to Kairu's head.
"No carrots is a severe, painful punishment for Kairu-chan! But she swears she'll see this night through, with or without carrots! C'mon, Hiroko-dono! The movies gonna start without us, and we best get moving, rii~iight Hiro-chan?"
The tufty haired girl gave a knowledgable wink at Hiroko. "Besides, Mogeta has a reeaaallly interesting plotline. At the moment, he has to fight a villain who gets beaten up by his wife!"
Hiroko showed no signs of budging, stony faced. Kairu's expression grew to one of concern.
P...perhaps Hiroko-chan's boots are glued to the ground? Ah-ah no! I have to help her, if we're going to see the movie!
Without warning, the girl had dropped to all fours, now tugging with earnest at Hiroko's boots, despite the girls complaints.
"Don't worry, Hiroko- dono! Super Rabbit...I mean, Super Kairu will unglue your boots in no time!" She pulled a mock thoughtful face. "Perhaps it would be better to remove them on a whole?"
Once more, she began the wearisome process of sliding Hiroko's boots off-no easy task, seeing as the girl was kicking up a ferocious struggle, Hiro hanging, his expression worried, in the background.
Ma....maybe Hiro doesn't like this? Maybe he doesn't want to do this?
Before she could harvest any such doubts, both boots were off and clasped securely in her arms. The time was up-the movie began now.
"Ack! C'mon, c'mon you guys! The cinema isn't very far, but we gots to run! RUN! C'mon!"
Laughing and whooping, the girl sprinted, wishing she was barefoot to feel the damp concrete peel away beneath her flesh, making her own steady way to the cinema.

"But Hiroko, if you didn't pay for the groceries, it means you can come back to pay! And thats fun! Isn't it, isn't it, Hiro-chan?"
"Come back to pay? Just what kind of fool do you take me for?" she muttered, but not loudly enough for Kairu or Hiro to hear her.
"No carrots is a severe, painful punishment for Kairu-chan! But she swears she'll see this night through, with or without carrots! C'mon, Hiroko-dono! The movies gonna start without us, and we best get moving, rii~iight Hiro-chan?"
Hiroko scowled. "Extremely severe, no doubt."
"Besides, Mogeta has a reeaaallly interesting plotline. At the moment, he has to fight a villain who gets beaten up by his wife!"
Hiroko resisted all her urges to say a nasty remark to Kairu. However, her harsh side was just about to break through when Hiroko found Kairu at her feet, tugging on her boots. "What the...?" Hiroko began. "What are you doing? Get off!"
But to her annoyance, Kairu took no notice.
"Don't worry, Hiroko- dono! Super Rabbit...I mean, Super Kairu will unglue your boots in no time!"
"Super Rabbit? Super Kairu? This is one very sad joke." Hiroko put up a little defense, and tried to kick Kairu away without injuring her. At least that Hiro wasn't being so idiotic. Mind you, he was just standing there doing nothing.
Hiroko was snatched out of her thoughts when she felt her socks soak onto the damp conrete. "Wha... my boots!"
"Ack! C'mon, c'mon you guys! The cinema isn't very far, but we gots to run! RUN! C'mon!"
"Kairu, you brat!" Hiroko yelled. Kairu was running down the street, and Hiroko began to pursue her. "Give them back! GET BACK HERE!" Hiroko tore down the street after her, hot on her heels.
